Nigerian literary icon Buchi Emecheta has died

The novelist died in her home in London at the age of 72. She was one of Nigeria's veteran writers, an author of more than 20 books including 'The Joys of Motherhood', 'Second-Class Citizen', 'The Bride Price', 'The Slave Girl' and many others. Buchi Emecheta has received many literary awards. She was a woman who wrote about feminist struggle, but didn't describe herself as one. Dr Nnedi Okorafor says Mrs Emecheta was the reason she started writing.

SCANDAL!!!: Amber Rose and Other Models in Internet Prostitution Scam--Get the Details

Amber Rose's likeness and name have been used to allegedly lure women into prostitution. According to TMZ, police are investigating a company that was soliciting models "for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line." Up-and-coming models who saw the advertisement on Instagram and later contacted the business were reportedly told Amber was a key person in picking the models. Eventually, a purported FaceTime session between the model and Amber would be set up. When the prospective models called in, however, the company would reportedly use an old video from Amber's Ustream that would ultimately result in a bad connection. "If ur receiving emails or Text from amberrosemuva@gmail.com dat ain't me Bih," Amber tweeted over the weekend. "Apparently that email has been Facetiming my fans 2 with an old ustream I did then hanging up saying they had bad reception smh." She added, "Tricky f--ks....Very creative tho. I'll give them that.&
