Jamie Vardy yet to decide on Arsenal - Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says Jamie Vardy has yet to decide whether he wants to join Arsenal this summer.

Arsenal triggered the release clause in Vardy's contract earlier this month and a source close to the London club told ESPN FC that he underwent the first stage of his medical.

However, Leicester then made a counter offer, and the 29-year-old then travelled to France with the England squad for Euro 2016 amid reports he was having second thoughts about leaving the Premier League champions.

Ranieri, making an appearance on Sky Sport Italia on Monday, confirmed the forward is still assessing his options.

"We want to keep him," Ranieri said, according toCalcio Mercato. "Arsenal have said that they are willing to pay the clause but he hasn't accepted yet. It's up to the player to say yes or no."

Leicester may also face a battle to keep the likes of N'Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez, who has said he is happy at the King Power Stadium butcannot guarantee he will stay. 

Ranieri said: "I hope I can keep all of my champions and add those players we are looking for to strengthen the squad."

Jamie Vardy is currently with the England national team as he considers Arsenal's offer.

The coach accepts that Leicester are unlikely to win the title again next year but is hopeful they will be competitive.

"An extremely difficult season is awaiting us because what we have achieved cannot be repeated," he said.

"I am curious to see what will happen: it's an incredible group and I want to see what we can do."

He added: "Let's concentrate on the Community Shield first, and then let's try and keep up with the top five or six clubs."

Ranieri also backed Italy to have a "great tournament" at Euro 2016 and admitted his brief foray into international management with Greecehad not suited him.

On the Euros: "I have managed a national team and it didn't go so well -- I'm more of a day-to-day kind of person."

Amber Rose's likeness and name have been used to allegedly lure women into prostitution. According to TMZ, police are investigating a company that was soliciting models "for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line."
