Hollywood Walk Of Fame Says Bill Cosby’s Star Will Not Be Removed

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, who oversee the Hollywood Walk of Fame, have revealed that they would not be removing Bill Cosby’s star.

Following months of accusations against the iconic actor, he was finally criminally charged on Wednesday with aggravated indecent assault.

He has lost a number of accolades because of the saga, including honarary degrees and shows, but he won’t be losing his star on the Walk of Fame.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the star of Bill Cosby. The answer is no,” Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, said to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
