Dimitar Berbatov confirms Manchester United return in photo with Wayne Rooney

Dimitar Berbatov’s return to Old Trafford has been confirmed after photos emerged of the Bulgarian with Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney at the club’s training ground today.

The 35-year-old is currently a free agent and is keen to build-up his fitness in search of a new club.

The Bulgarian spent four years at the Theatre of Dreams and was keen to return to the north-west to learn about Mourinho’s training methods as he eyes a future in coaching.

Berbatov was a popular figure with the Old Trafford crowd and he was seen posing with old striker partner Rooney at the club’s Aon training complex
