Juventus secures progression with narrow victory over Manchester City

Juventus produced a professional performance against Manchester City on Wednesday to trump its English rival 1-0 and confirm qualification into the Champions League round of 16.

In an entertaining yet slightly scrappy tie between the pair, Mario Mandzukic's short-range 18th minute effort was enough to take the spoils at the Juventus Stadium. The three points also leaves the Old Lady atop of Group D with a two-point cushion.

City will need to win at home against Monchengladbach in the final matchday and Sevilla to be victorious against the Old Lady in order to finish a top seed for the knockout round.

Usain Bolt has been forced to wear an Arsenal shirt after losing a bet with friend Patty Lopez following Manchester United 's emphatic 3-0 loss at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil saw the Gunners storm into an unassailable lead after less than 20 minutes leaving the world's fastest man to adorn the colours of his team's rivals. "So I lost the bet," he said to camera. "So I have to wear an Arsenal shirt. I'm not happy about it!" It wasn't all bad for Bolt though as both he and friend Lopez turned around to reveal the Jamican's 100-metre world-record time of 9.58 seconds on their backs.
