Royhills Edozie, who was the organiser of Lagos Fashion Awards and Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos, has died. He died yesterday. He had been diagnosed with perforated ulcer and had been lying ill in the hospital for 3 months. He was said to have been recovering before he suffered a relapse and died aged 28.  Royhills was pursuing his Masters degree before his death. He also had just paid for a new house and was to move in this month. Royhills was scheduled to launch his new brand: Mr Lagos Pageant which was already showing great prospects before he gave up the ghost Source : Allure

While President Donald Trump is issuing executive orders banning immigration, a Nigerian Harvard student, Imelme Umana of the Harvard Law School 2018 set, has emerged the new President of the Harvard Law Review. Ruggedman blasts shameless Blackface for Tubaba attack

 Nigerian rapper, Michael Ugochukwu a.k.a Ruggedman has reacted to Blackface’s stance on the nationwide protest initiated by his former band mate, Tuface. Black Face is totally against Tuface’s move and on his Instagram page, he shared a post by one Dr Bunmi Awoyemi, who lambasted  Tubaba. Troops foil Boko Haram's attempt to capture military base in Yobe

Troops in Kamuya, Yobe state last night foiled an attempted by a large number of Boko Haram members to dislodge them and capture their military base. According to reports, the sect members who were over a hundred and armed with all manner of sophisticated weapons, stormed the military base at night. They engaged the Army in a fierce gun battle that lasted over an hour. The troops killed many of the sect members while others fled the scene with gun shot injuries. Three soldiers were reportedly killed while some others are said to be missing. The Nigerian Army is yet to release a statement regarding this new attack.

20 APC Senators set to join PDP - Godswill Akpabio claims

The Minority Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Senate and former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, has said that about 20 senators from the All Progressives Congress (APC) are planning to defect to the PDP once peace returns to the party. Akpabio, who stated this on Thursday, at the opening of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and expanded caucus of the PDP, held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, said that despite some defections that hit the party recently, PDP senators in the National Assembly are still intact and very supportive of the party. He said just as the party has lost senators through defections, there are also some others who have joined the PDP through elections and the court pronouncements.  Akpabio told the gathering that the chances of the party bouncing back to power is very bright today than ever, adding that “no election that will be conducted in the former PDP 28 states that the party will not win. "...

He was held at the the Onikan command zone of the state police command. Now we can confirm that he has been released. Details of his condition of release is yet to be made public. Harrysong and his team are currently preparing a statement to address the issue.

And he's currently being held on counts relating to breach of contract, fraud among other issues at an undisclosed location. At the moment, the song tops music chart in over 20 African countries and it continues to get alot of cover versions from musicians worldwide. JUDY GARLAND BODY MOVED FROM NEW YORK

Judy Garland  is no longer in New York ... confused? According to TMZ Garland, who died in 1969, has been ensconced in a mausoleum in Hartsdale, New York ever since.   We've learned the remains of the 'Wizard of Oz' star was removed from the cemetery last Thursday and placed in the cargo hold of an American Airlines flight Tuesday night from JFK to LAX. We're told the body will be interred at Hollywood Forever Cemetery at the behest of Judy's daughter,  Liza Minnelli . It's unclear why Liza ordered the move nearly a half-century after her mom's death. Judy's new resting place will be in the Beth Olam section of the cemetery ... reserved for Jewish people.  Hollywood Forever has a slew of celebs who call it home, including George Harrison, Cecil B. DeMille, 2 of the Ramones, Bugsy Siegel, Rudy Valentino, Fay Wray, and Jayne Mansfield. Also buried there ... Mickey Rooney, with whom Judy did several movies.

According to the ‘ Maga Don Pay’  crooner, who spoke with  Planet TV,  too many ‘wack’ songs are being peddled in the industry and no one seems to care about it. Clearly pained about the state of the music industry, Kelly bemoaned the state of the industry saying both fans and DJs allow this as nothing can be done since the owners of such songs must have paid their way through to ensure their songs are being played everywhere.
