Louis van Gaal isn’t embarrassed by the fact that his big-spending Manchester United are 19 points behind surprise Premier League leaders Leicester.
In fact, the United boss thinks it is BEAUTIFUL.
Van Gaal has been allowed to lavish £250million on signing new players in his two years at Old Trafford.
But he thinks the way managerial counterpart Claudio Ranieri has moulded Leicester’s unsung heroes into a team of title-winning potential is good for the game.
Van Gaal, who does have two games in hand on the flying Foxes, said: “I don’t think it is embarrassing to be so far behind Leicester.
“Football is a sport and what Leicester are doing makes sport beautiful. It means the money is not always dominating.
