Arsene Wenger and wife Annie split as marriage comes to an end!

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has split from his wife Annie.The couple have endured months of speculation about the state of their marriage, it was claimed. The Arsenal Manager and long term lover Annie, 59, are said to have agreed a financial package and divided up their assets. The couple, who have an 18-year-old daughter have not been pictured together since 2013. Wenger has previously admitted that his high pressured job with his London club , Arsenal Fc had put pressure on his relationship. Neither Arsene Wenger or wife Annie has released any statement telling why their marriage came to an end . It is understood court papers filed in Wenger’s hometown of Strasbourg, France, show they have not been together since June of this year. The document - known as a “séparé du corps” in French - is not a full divorce but is a legal separation which means that the couple are not legally obliged to live together. A source said Arsene Wenger, 65, and wife Annie, who married in December 2010 after a long term relationship, had “not been happy for a while”. “They have divided up their assets and agreed a financial package to separate. Arsene Wenger and his wife Annie ,survived a tough time in 2010 when Wenger was rumoured to be having an affair with Sonia Tatar, a 39-year-old former waitress and singer he was said to have met in a Paris restaurant in 2008. When Wenger was confronted with the story in 2010,he said-"This is a very serious matter. I do not intend to make any comment and wish to deal with the matter privately." It was reported then that the 39 year old waitress Sonia Tatar had begged Wenger to leave Arsenal and London so they could be closer together in France.At the time,Arsene Wenger's name was linked to the Paris club,Paris St Germain. However the story dies out and Arsene Wenger and his wife Annie survived the scandal.It is not known at this time if any third party is involved in the ending of the couple's marriage. Wenger received an OBE with his wife Annie by his side at the Foreign and Commonwealth office from Jack Straw in 2003 . In an interview in 2008 Wenger revealed how he promised to quit football for his wife. “It is difficult to find time to see them but there are jobs [which are worse]. You have guys who leave for work on Monday and come back on Friday. “In my job I travel, but the problem is not so much the quantity of time you spend with your family, it is the quality. Arsene added: “My wife likes watching football, she watches all the games of Arsenal at home. She is not a fanatic but she likes watching sports. No, she does not have much choice.” A spokesman for Arsenal where Wenger has been manager for 19 years said: “He is an employee and we do not talk about emloyees’ personal issues.” Wenger’s people were unavailable for comment. Arsene Wenger ahs always been a private man who kept his private life just that way.It would be interesting to see maybe Wenger and his rumoured old love,Sonia,will now get back together since he is now free to see anyone he chooses to.
